Uganda’s insurance premiums hit US$546 million as industry pushes for trust, faster claims and inclusive growth

Nelson Mandela Muhoozi is Ugandan mid-career multi-award-winning multimedia journalist at the state-owed New Vision, Uganda’s oldest newspaper. In 2023, he also won the Insurance Media Personality of the year award in Uganda at the Insurance Innovations Awards which were organised by the Insurance Regulatory Authority (IRA).
