Shingie Maramba, director, wealth and insurance solutions EMEA at Equisoft, warns insurers across Africa that they have just three months left to ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standard 17 (IFRS17) and says it is unlikely the deadline for compliance will be moved again, after it was shifted to accommodate the Covid-19 upheaval.
